How To Lift During The Season:
Chances are if you are a college basketball player reading this, you are starting back up at school very shortly, some even this week. This means more than likely you will begin embarking in the training regiment and conditioning program that is assigned to you by your coach. My advice? Follow it!
During the season you need to stay active in the weight room, but at a minimal level and just enough to maintain what you’ve gained from your summer workouts. It is a long season, and you do not need to over work your body early on with extra workouts. Follow the workout plan given to you by your coaching staff, if you will not be assigned a workout plan remember it is okay to workout, but don’t over do it! light weight/heavy reps!
